Policies and Procedures

  • School begins at 8:00 am and dismissal bell rings at 2:30 pm.

  • Holy Family School makes the decision to cancel independently of the surrounding school districts.

On any day in which classes are canceled due to severe weather conditions, all other school-related activities (school-sponsored social events, meetings, extracurricular activities, or athletic events/practices held on or away from school property) shall likewise be canceled on that day and evening. Exception is if the host team is in session.

On days when school is cancelled or on two hour delay, parents will receive a message from the principal via the parent alert system. Parents may also listen daily to local TV and radio stations for this information. Usually these announcements are made beginning at 5:30 a.m. If Holy Family is to be closed for other emergencies, the principal will call radio and TV stations and give the reason for closing (i.e. broken water pipes, boiler problems).

  • We believe that all children are expected to behave in accordance with the Gospel message. As Catholics, we are mandated by our faith to treat each other with love and respect. In registering at Holy Family School, both students and parents agree to comply with and support the discipline policies and regulations, as outlined in the Code of Conduct.

Download our Code of Conduct below.

  • Holy Family believes that an appropriate Dress Code is important in educating our students. Our dress code has changed for the 2024-2025 school year.

    School Uniforms

You can purchase Holy Family School Uniforms from Lands' End. To order, visit the Land's End site, then search for the school, or use our school code: 900144163 then provide details for your child.

    Holy Family Swap Shop

School uniforms can be expensive when kids grow out of their clothes so quickly. Thankfully, we offer a swap shop so you can find some extra clothes that fit your child. Return them when your child outgrows them for the next family to use. We cannot guarantee all sizes are available at all times.

    Dragon's Lair

Dragon's Lair is the new school spirit wear shop we launched in conjuntion with the new dress code options for the 2024-2025 year. All proceeds from this shop go to the Athletic Boosters. We are constantly creating new options and adding new designs so check back frequently. If you have an idea or a suggestion for a design or item you'd like to see please contact our designer here and let us know.

  • The Crisis Management Plan is intended to provide the school administration and staff an opportunity to prepare responses to a wide variety of emergencies. The plan gives specific attention to: issues of violence, threats upon persons or property, natural disasters, civil unrest, intruders, environmental disasters, contraband, and utilities failure. The Crisis Management Plan relies heavily upon the local school staff for implementation.

The primary members of the Crisis Management Team are the Pastor, school Principal, Secretaries, Custodian, and Teachers. Parents, local law enforcement and emergency service agencies may assist them. Each team member has a specific role and will have a written description of their duties as the plan is called into action. A copy of the Crisis Management Plan is available in the school office.
