Welcome

Dear Holy Family School Families,

I am honored to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new principal of Holy Family School and I am excited to be joining such a dedicated staff and community. Just a little bit about myself. My name is Tod Morris and I bring with me 25 years of experience in education with a strong passion for academic excellence, personal growth, and an inclusive safe learning environment. I have been a principal in Youngstown City Schools for the past fifteen years and a special education teacher prior to that. My strengths are in classroom management, instructional delivery, engagement, and the Science of Reading. You will find me in the classrooms and hallways constantly. I have set three important goals for this upcoming school year. First, ensure that Holy Family School is passionately Catholic in all aspects of the school environment. Secondly, listen to students and families. I want to hear your needs, wishes, and concerns and make adjustments where needed. I am always open to new ideas and suggestions. Lastly, I want to build on the current culture of academic achievement and excellence, and work collaboratively with our exceptional staff to provide an enriching growth oriented educational experience for all students. Above all, I always see the strengths and positives in each student, operate with unconditional love, and stand as a steadfast advocate for each and every student who enters Holy Family School.

I want to thank Father Celuch and Diocesan leadership for this opportunity and I am looking forward to meeting all of you in August. Please have a safe and enjoyable summer. May peace be with all of you.

Sincerely,

Tod Morris
